Instructional Coach, K-5

My professional background includes many years  working in primary education before completing my Masters in Education. My teaching experience has allowed me  to work with children and families in different contexts. I currently work as an Instructional Coach for the South Orange Maplewood School District. 

I have taught children ages five to twelve for over 14 years. I sincerely believe that ALL children can learn. My goal is to help children develop their self-confidence as literacy students by providing them with support for taking risks and overcoming challenges. With the right tools and time, all readers and writers can become successful readers and writers for life! 

I live in Maplewood with my husband and two children.
I am an avid collector of children's picture books, an advocate for literacy and social justice, and a lover of lifelong learning.
